It's a shame, because for all of the metrics and everything EA Austin have access to, the one key thing they fail to continuously account for, is customer feedback. Especially ones that don't just double down on profiteering (it's clear the Cartel Market takes priority in SWTOR). I've got no qualms about taking my money elsewhere, and supporting other developers and companies. The money I would have spent on future subscriptions within this game is now going to support other developers (I'm actually now subscribing to the Humble Monthly Bundle). I wish them all the best in future endeavours, however I'll be highly unlikely to support them financially. There really are only so many chances that they can squander, once that goodwill has been lost it takes a lot of work to make up for that loss.įrom everything I've seen, there is little to no effort being placed to amend for past mistakes, which is one reason why I am done with this development studio. Indeed, they've been asked more than enough times to communicate in a much more forthright and open manner with the players / customers. Instead thogh, we got the patented wall of silence from BioWare, which along with the marketing and behavior with KotFE which demonstrated, to me, I truly was nothing to them as a person, I was merely a purse which they wanted to dip their fingers in early and often, that pushed it completely over the edge for me.
